Do the people I invite need an account?

No. Only the person who starts the room needs a free account. Anyone you invite joins straight from the link or QR code — no sign-up, no app, no waiting.

How many people can color together?

3 people in a free room and up to 6 on a paid plan, so it stays fun and not chaotic. A free room stays open for 2 hours, Lite 4 and Pro 8; an Ultra room stays open until you close it. Then anyone can start a fresh one.

Is it free?

Yes. Starting rooms is free (one room a day on the free plan, unlimited on any paid plan), and joining is always free and unlimited.

Is it safe for kids?

Rooms are private: only people who have your invitation link or QR code can join, and there is no public room list or matchmaking. The room has a small chat for short messages and emoji reactions, and a word filter hides swearing and adult words on everyone’s screen. No filter is perfect, so for young children we suggest coloring with people you know.

Can we talk while we color?

Yes. Open the room chat to send short messages, or tap an emoji reaction that floats up on everyone’s screen. You’ll also see when someone joins or leaves. Many families simply color while on a phone or video call.

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Yes. Color Together runs in the browser on phones, tablets, Chromebooks, and computers, with nothing to install. A guest can scan the room’s QR code with a phone camera to join.

Is this the Discord activity?

No — Color Together by Koloring isn’t affiliated with Discord.

What if my friend joins after I have started coloring?

No problem — when someone joins they instantly receive the current state of the page, so they see everything colored so far and pick up right where the room is.
