Content Policy
Last updated: May 2026
Koloring.ai is designed for children and families. This policy explains what you can create on our platform, what's not allowed, and how we enforce it.
1. What you can create
Our AI tools are intended for children's coloring pages and family- friendly creative content. You can use them to generate:
- Children's coloring pages — animals, fantasy creatures, nature scenes, vehicles, food, everyday objects.
- Educational content — alphabet, numbers, science diagrams, geography, anatomy at an age-appropriate level.
- Holiday and seasonal themes — Halloween (friendly spooky, not gore), Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Diwali, Lunar New Year, etc.
- Original character designs — make up your own creatures, robots, mascots, superheroes.
- Mandalas and pattern art — geometric and decorative coloring designs for any age.
- Photo conversion — turn family photos, pet photos, landscape photos, or original artwork into coloring pages, provided you have the right to use the source image (see Terms §6.2).
2. What's not allowed
The following categories are blocked by our automated filters, reviewed by our moderation pipeline, and prohibited under our Terms §8:
- Nudity or sexual content of any kind, including suggestive imagery, lingerie, fetishistic content, or anything intended to sexualise its subject.
- Violence, gore, or disturbing imagery — weapons in use, blood, dismemberment, torture, self-harm, suicide, mass-casualty events.
- Hate speech or discriminatory content — symbols of hate movements, slurs, or content that targets people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Real people without consent — public figures, celebrities, politicians, or any identifiable individual who has not consented to having their likeness converted. Self-portraits and photos of consenting family members are fine.
- Copyrighted characters — we generate original art only. Do not prompt for trademarked characters from films, TV shows, video games, books, or branded toys. Our character-themed landing pages exist for SEO discoverability, but the artwork on every page is original.
- Drug, alcohol, or tobacco content — including cannabis imagery, prescription-drug abuse, smoking, or vaping paraphernalia.
- Content promoting self-harm — including content that depicts, romanticises, or instructs self-harm in any form.
3. How we enforce
We use a layered safety pipeline so prohibited content is blocked before it ever reaches our AI model or your screen:
- Automated prompt filtering. Text prompts are checked against a blocklist of prohibited terms before they reach our AI provider. Prompts that match are rejected with a content- policy violation message.
- System prompt guardrails. Every prompt to our AI model is wrapped in an instruction that tells the model to refuse inappropriate content and produce a child-friendly result instead.
- AI-powered photo moderation. Uploaded photos are checked by a vision model before conversion. Anything that appears to depict prohibited content is rejected up front.
- Post-generation review. AI outputs are checked again before being saved or shown to you. Outputs that fail the safety review are deleted and not stored.
- Manual admin review. Generations flagged by any of the above layers (or by user reports) are placed in an internal moderation queue for human review. Confirmed violations are deleted from storage and the database.
Violation consequences. First-time violations result in the offending content being removed. Repeated attempts to bypass these filters — or to generate prohibited content — will result in account suspension or termination under Terms §12. We log violation patterns by account so we can act on repeat-offender behaviour even when individual prompts are borderline.
4. Report inappropriate content
If you see content on koloring.ai that you believe violates this policy, please report it. We review every report and aim to respond within 48 hours.
- Email: hello@koloring.ai with the subject line “Content Report”.
- Contact form: koloring.ai/contact and select “Content Report” as the subject.
Please include the page URL and a short description of why you believe the content is inappropriate. If the content depicts a real person without consent, please indicate whether you are the depicted person or are reporting on their behalf.
