Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Koloring.ai (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Children under 13 may use Koloring.ai under parental supervision without creating an account (browse and color without sign-in). Parents are responsible for any use of the Service by their children.

2. The service

Koloring.ai provides free and premium coloring-page tools, including:

• A catalog of original coloring pages organized by category
• A digital coloring canvas that runs in your browser
• Camera Trace & Sketch — projecting pages onto paper through your device camera
• AI tools that generate coloring pages from text prompts or photos
• Download (PNG with watermark for free users; HD PNG and PDF for Pro)
• Optional account features (favorites, cloud-saved artwork, history)

We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice for material changes that affect paid features.

3. User accounts

• You are responsible for the security of your account credentials.
• One account per person. Shared accounts are a violation of these Terms.
• You must provide accurate information. If your account is compromised, notify us immediately.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (see §12).

4. Plans and licensing

4.1 Free plan ($0)

• Browse the entire catalog of coloring pages
• Color any page online using our digital canvas
• Camera Trace & Sketch — 2 sessions per day
• 8 one-time credits for the AI tools — text, photo & drawing conversions each cost 2 credits; HD downloads 1 (plus 2 free photo tries with no account)
• Download with watermark, up to 1200px
• Up to 10 favorites

4.2 Paid plans

Paid plans (current tiers and prices are shown on the pricing page) include everything in Free, plus:

• Unlimited Camera Trace & Sketch
• A generous monthly AI allowance — see the pricing page for the current amount included with your plan
• Clean, watermark-free downloads, plus print-ready PDF
• Unlimited favorites
• Save colored artwork to cloud, synced across devices
• Ad-free experience
• Commercial-use license (see §4.3) — e.g. classroom distribution, or inclusion in printed books for sale

4.3 Commercial license

A commercial license is included with every paid plan (Lite, Pro, and Ultra alike). Paid subscribers may use the pages they download — both pages from our catalog and pages they generate with our AI tools — in commercial contexts: classrooms, therapy and clinical practices, printed products they sell, and client materials. They may not resell or redistribute the pages themselves as standalone files, coloring books, or digital downloads (see the limits below). The license is non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free.

The license survives cancellation. Content you download while your paid subscription is active keeps its commercial license permanently, even after you cancel. What ends at cancellation is your ability to download new content under the license — anything you download after your subscription ends is personal-use only.

What the license does not permit. The license lets you use our pages inside a product you create. It does not let you redistribute the pages themselves. Specifically, you may not:

• resell, sublicense, share or give away the page files as-is, whether individually, in bundles, or as a collection — in any format, including digital downloads, print-on-demand files, or stock/clip-art libraries;
• offer any product whose primary value is the coloring pages themselves rather than what you added to them — for example republishing our catalog, or a substantial part of it, as your own coloring book, pack, app, or website;
• claim authorship of, or exclusive rights in, the pages, or register them (or works derived from them) as a trademark;
• use the pages, or any content from this service, to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine-learning models.

In short: incorporate our pages into something of your own and sell that freely — but do not resell our library as a library. We may terminate the license of any account that does, and these restrictions continue to apply after cancellation.

Free plan. Downloads on the Free plan are for personal, non-commercial use only.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Subscriptions are processed by our third-party payment partner acting as Merchant of Record. Your billing information is held by them, not by us. All applicable taxes and fees are handled by the payment partner.
• Monthly subscriptions automatically renew each month at the listed price until cancelled.
• Annual subscriptions automatically renew each year at the listed price until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from your account. Access continues until the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time within a paid period.
• Refund requests made within 7 days of an initial purchase are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Email us at the address in §15.
• Credits and credit packs. Credits and AI generations are non-refundable digital products. Subscription cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current period. Unused credit packs are non-refundable.
• We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ notice to affected subscribers; price changes do not apply retroactively to the current billing period.

6. AI-generated content

6.1 General

• Coloring pages produced by our AI tools are original works generated from your prompt. They are not copies of pre-existing artwork.
• Free users may use generated pages for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
• Subscribers on any paid plan may use generated pages for commercial purposes (e.g. selling printed coloring books, classroom distribution, physical products) under the commercial license in §4.3, which sets out the full terms — including that pages downloaded during an active subscription stay licensed after cancellation, and that the pages may not be resold or redistributed as files.
• We do not guarantee that AI outputs will be free of artifacts, errors, or ambiguity, nor that any specific prompt will produce a specific result.
• You must not use our AI tools to generate content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, depicts real people without consent, infringes third-party intellectual property, or is otherwise prohibited under our Content Policy or §8.
• We reserve the right to refuse, remove, or restrict any AI-generated content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6.2 Photo-to-coloring

Photos uploaded for conversion are used solely to generate a coloring page via our AI tools. The resulting coloring page is original AI-generated artwork inspired by your photo, not a copy or derivative. You must have the right to use any photo you upload — that means a photo you took yourself, a photo of someone who has consented to your use of their likeness, or a photo you are licensed to use for this purpose.

You agree not to upload photos that:

• Depict another identifiable person who has not given consent to convert their likeness, or who is a minor.
• Are protected by copyrights or trademarks you do not own or have a license to use (including stills from films, TV shows, video games, or copyrighted character merchandise).
• Contain nudity, sexual content, violence, gore, hate symbols, weapons, drugs, or any other content prohibited by our Content Policy.

Uploaded photos are processed in memory only and discarded immediately after conversion (see Privacy Policy §4.1).

6.3 Coloring book creator

• Free users receive coloring books built from watermarked pages, up to 10 pages per book. Books are licensed for personal use only (e.g. a home printout for your own children).
• Paid subscribers receive coloring books built from clean, HD pages without watermarks (page limits per plan are shown on the pricing page). Books may be used for commercial purposes (e.g. selling printed coloring books, classroom distribution, physical products) under the commercial license described in §4.3.
• You may not resell PDF files generated by the book creator as standalone digital downloads.

6.4 Content policy and safety filters

All AI tools (text-to-coloring, photo-to-coloring, book creator) are gated by automated safety filters. Prompts and images that appear to request or depict prohibited content are blocked before reaching our AI provider, and outputs are reviewed against the same standards. See our Content Policy for the full list of categories and how we enforce them.

Repeated attempts to bypass these filters, or to generate prohibited content, will result in account suspension or termination (see §12).

7. Intellectual property

• The Koloring.ai name, logo, branding, and pre-made catalog of coloring pages are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
• AI-generated pages produced from your account are licensed to you on the terms in §6, depending on your plan.
• You retain ownership of the colored versions you create on top of any page. We do not claim copyright in your coloring work.
• If you choose to share colored artwork in our community gallery, you grant Koloring.ai a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and promote that artwork on the service. You may revoke this license at any time by deleting the artwork from your account.

8. Prohibited uses

Use of the Service must comply with our Content Policy. In particular, you may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download our content using automated tools
• Use the service to generate content at industrial scale, abuse free tiers, or evade rate limits
• Attempt to bypass watermarks, download restrictions, or paywalls
• Share or resell access to your Pro account credentials
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Generate content that infringes third-party copyrights or trademarks
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from our service
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure without prior written consent
• Use the service to send spam or harass any individual
• Generate content that is violent, sexual, explicit, hateful, or depicts real people without consent
• Generate content that sexualises minors
• Attempt to bypass or trick our automated safety filters (prompt filtering, vision moderation, or admin review)

We reserve the right to block or remove any content that violates this policy, and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly attempt prohibited uses.

9. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any specific AI output will meet your expectations. We are not responsible for the content or behavior of any third-party services referenced in our Privacy Policy.

Brand names and trademarks mentioned for editorial purposes (e.g. on character-themed landing pages) belong to their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any trademark holder.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Koloring.ai, its officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of the service.

Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential damages. In those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. DMCA & copyright

We respond to valid copyright takedown notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent international procedures. See our DMCA Takedown Policy for the full procedure and counter-notification process.

Accounts of users found to be repeat infringers will be terminated.

12. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days, except as required to comply with legal, accounting, or tax obligations.
• We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. We will provide reasonable notice unless immediate action is required.
• Sections §7 (Intellectual property), §9 (Disclaimer), §10 (Limitation of liability), §13 (Governing law) survive termination.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in our jurisdiction of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Nothing in this section limits the rights of consumers under mandatory consumer-protection law in their country of residence.

14. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. For material changes, we will notify account holders by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
